Andrew Fazackerley is a pianist, organist, composer, arranger, producer, and bandleader. He loves to hear and play all styles of music from Bach on the pipe organ to the Beatles. His greatest love though, is to play jazz piano. The Andrew Fazackerley Trio appears regularly at jazz clubs around town. He is pianist for Tommie Macon & The Gentle Men Of Jazz, Lenny Stabile Band, The Nick Savage Band, The Les Still Swinging Big Band and many others. He has released recordings, including a solo piano album of jazz standards and original compositions entitled ‘Our Love Is Here To Stay’. Andrew is one of the most sought after and busiest musicians in Atlanta. In addition to their authentic big band sound, Still Swinging features The Swing Shift, a team of 5 vocalists. The combined presentation is a unique sound that truly captures the essence of the Swing Era. Audiences invariably vow that they are in the presence of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey or Benny Goodman when they hear the authentic big band recreation of all of the great old charts. The repertoire of this accomplished group is just as impressive. Still Swinging currently holds a library of more than 125 titles from which Les personally customizes a play list for each engagement. The Gary Land Band featuring Maria Howell is a five-piece variety showband containing five outstanding performers. The primary focus of the studio is to provide a creative and affordable environment in which musicians can work. The studio is equipped with Alesis ADATS and Digidesign Pro-Tools recording equipment. Several keyboards are available including a fabulous vintage Hammond C 3, Yamaha electric grand, and Kurzweil PC2-x. A drum kit is also available. Andrew has recorded C.D. s for several local musicians and groups, including Lenny Stabile, Tommie Macon & The Gentle Men Of Jazz, and The Bernard Linette Interactive Sextet. Virginia loves all forms of music, but specializes in Ancient, Renaissance, Elizabethan, Baroque, and Classical. Her repertoire also includes Pop Rock, Ragtime (especially Scott Joplin), the old favorites, and English, French, Irish, Italian, and Scottish folk music. Her CD "Well-Kept Secrets" has just been released. Her venues include Oglethorpe University, Callanwolde Center for the Fine Arts, and Saks Fifth Avenue. She is the early mass organist and harpsichordist at Holy Trinity Parish in Decatur, Georgia. Virginia holds a Master of Visual Arts degree in Drawing and Painting. She has written for The Atlanta Journal and Constitution. She lives with her 4 cats and Irish Wolfhound in an 1859 farmhouse in the Village of Stone Mountain.
